Meet Gamut

  • Brian Cox

    FOUNDER, PARTNER

    Brian’s experience spans nonprofit development, marketing, technology and transformational change strategies. He has served as a major gifts fundraiser (Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund), as a digital marketing leader (United Way Worldwide) and as a Nonprofit Transformation Executive (Salesforce). Brian also has extensive experience as a strategic adviser to United Nations Agencies including UNICEF, UNHCR, World Food Program and World Health Organization, where he advised strategies to help the U.N. address some of the most urgent issues of our time. Brian’s subject matter expertise includes transformational change strategies, nonprofit marketing, fundraising, stakeholder management, celebrity and corporate partnerships, and building culture. Brian holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Northeastern University, once ran for office in the District of Columbia and is a beekeeper in his spare time.

  • Michael Brooks

    FOUNDER, PARTNER

    Michael draws on his experiences leading legacy nonprofits (formerly ChildFund International’s Chief Strategy & Digital Officer, United Way Worldwide’s Senior Vice President of Strategy & Innovation) and as founder of successful startups (The 10,000 Hours Show, The James Gang, Longpath Labs). Michael’s subject matter expertise includes strategy, innovation, network partnership, stakeholder engagement, digital transformation, participatory design, DEI, and facilitation. He has facilitated more than 150 inclusive design sessions and workshops with groups ranging from boards and executive teams to youth social entrepreneurs. Michael holds an MPA from George Washington University and an MDiv from Yale.
